Historically, we’ve been limited in the amount of time and the number of days we can play, so we’ve been playing by modified rules. Those rules were designed to assure that matches could be finished in under two hours, and to simplify the game for newcomers. Normal US BOCCE FEDERATION (USBF) and international rules are different and may lead to slightly longer games..

USBF rules are used in competition such as local and national tournaments. We hope that we can someday be a host facility for bocce tournaments. To compete in those tournaments, you’d need to learn the USBF rules.

Knowing that tournaments normally use USBF rules.
